Our archival Giclée prints are made using pigment inks on museum-quality, 100% cotton smooth hot-press paper that's acid- and lignin-free.
Frames are satin-finish with a width of 3/4" inches and a standard profile of approximately one inch, completed with light-weight anti-reflection plexiglass, traditional paper backing, and a sturdy wire hanger. Note: hanging hardware not included.

Remembering Larry
The story behind the art
A father-daughter co-creation
To find purpose following his Alzheimer's diagnosis, Lawrence J “Larry” Nelson (1942–2021), a former architect, drew every day while at home with his daughter, Morgan Lindsay Nelson, and his ex-wife, LouAnn. Larry created hundreds of designs using his old drafting tools. As his illness progressed, he’d proudly call himself “Lawrence J Nelson, Artist in the Sky.”
When increasing medical needs required Larry to enter memory care, Morgan became her father’s fiercest advocate, fighting through severe barriers to protect his safety, dignity, and care within the elder care system.
In honor of his life and work, Morgan created five prints from Larry’s archives, titled the Eleven Forty-One Collection, to share his art with the world and spread awareness of the need for nursing home reform and protections for dementia patients. Each print is named after an architectural element as a full-circle reflection of Larry’s creative journey...
A journey of many highs, even amongst the lows. Until May 2021 changed everything.

Artistic Beginnings
1976
As a student, Larry established his signature geometric style. He created this piece with spray paint in his basement. Originally gifted to his elder sister, it made its way with her from Oregon → California → Washington state, and finally ending up back in Portland with Morgan.
Private practice
1980
Larry opened his architectural practice in Portland, Oregon, specializing in historical residential renovations, where he worked for nearly 40 years. His self-designed embossed logo continued his love of shapes, illustrating the sequence of how they come together to create the gold logomark itself.
Creating through illness
2019 to 2021
As dementia took his career and passions away, including playing tennis, Larry turned to creativity. Stocked with Sharpie pens, Larry immersed himself in the drawing process, often with his favorite show, Downton Abbey, or a tennis game on in the background. He proudly sold his first original piece in 2019, and gifted many drawings to friends and his care team as he loved the smile it put on their faces.

The collection’s title is in honor of the time Larry passed away around 11:41 p.m. on October 21st, 2021. Unbeknownst to Morgan, on that same night, as she began to write and process her heartbreaking fight to save her dad, the timestamp on the document matched his time of death. Since then, Morgan has transformed that grief, viewing 11:41 as a reminder not to give up on sharing his story with the world.
Adding another layer of symbolic meaning, in some regions, the emergency radio code 11-41 means: an ambulance is needed. For Alzheimer's patients and their families navigating elder care, the need for aid is real. We must step up and start the conversation to make the life-saving call for change.

When Larry entered care in May 2021
They wouldn't let him draw
And that was only the tip of the iceberg. Across the span of Larry's residency in memory care, adult foster care, and skilled nursing, the ill treatment of him and his fellow residents quickly came to light. After witnessing an onslaught of offenses and reporting them, a sobering reality revealed itself:
The regulatory systems have gaps that allow the facilities to protect themselves—not the residents—leaving families with limited avenues for accountability or justice.

Meet Morgan
In addition to being Larry's daughter, I'm also a lettering artist and illustrator inspired by campiness, deep conversations, and eclectic design anchored by color coordination.
Here's some of what my work brings to the table: I believe your home should be a direct reflection of your joy, emotions, and dreams—whether you're adding a pop of color to your living room, kitchen, office, or beyond. Here, dopamine decor is always in.
My mission is to deliver fun, heartfelt art for those who aren't afraid of a statement (piece). Every giclée print I create is designed to act as a daily mood and conversation booster, transforming blank spaces into a celebration of you and your taste.

How accurate are the colors?
All colors are represented as accurately as possible. However, due to the differences in monitors and color profiles, print colors may vary slightly from what you see on screen.
How long will it take to get my order?
All items are made-to-order.
Print-only orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days and delivered within 5 to 8 business days.
Framed orders can take up to 10 business days for production.

No. All work is human-made, using digital tools like the iPad, but never AI.
